Golden Kite Gala

The Golden Kite Awards, presented by the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), recognize excellence in children's literature in seven categories, judged by peers.

Prize: Each winner receives $2,500 plus $1,000 for a nonprofit donation, and honor winners receive $500 plus $250 for a nonprofit.
