Summer Reading Contest

Students are invited to tell us what they’re reading in The Times and why, this year in writing OR via a 90-second video.

You can choose anything you like that was published in the print paper or on NYTimes.com

You can participate any or every week, but we only allow one submission per person per week. Responses must be 1,500 characters or fewer. Provide the complete URL or headline of the article you choose.

**For this year, students can enter as they always have by submitting a short written response or making a video up to 90 seconds long.

​

Eligibility: All of these contests are open to students around the world ages 13 to 19 who are in middle school or high school
